MBUX
Not only does the new A-Class interior offer a plethora of personalization options—consider red contrast stitching or multicolored seats— but it also offers advanced technology that adapts the vehicle to you. The cutting-edge Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) debuted at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas back in January. It wowed then, and it will woo you now. The A-Class is the first model to offer what Mercedes-Benz calls "revolution in a cockpit." MBUX offers a comprehensive operating system for accessing and controlling vehicle functions, climate controls, and infotainment features. The user can navigate multiple levels of controls using the high-definition LCD touch screen in the dash, touch controls in the center console and on the steering wheel, and with effortless voice commands for distraction-free driving.
The one-of-a-kind voice-learning technology from Mercedes-Benz, MBUX's LINGUATRONIC, can actually adapt to each user's vocal profile using natural speech recognition, so it can learn the way you talk and adapt with every word to understand you better. This means you can speak plainly, just like talking to a live person, and MBUX will answer you plainly, just like a live person. Simply say "Hey Mercedes," and the A-Class will listen. "Hey Mercedes, will I need sunglasses in Miami this afternoon?" It will immediately access the weather forecast and let you know what to expect. You can use this Natural Voice Control to do just about anything, like adjusting the vehicle's interior climate control and infotainment features.
Wireless Connectivity
In addition to the incredible AI, you will enjoy endless connectivity features, such as the in-car office, which can sync with your smartphone via Bluetooth® to keep tabs on your daily schedule and even arrange phone meetings while you stay focused on the road. You can adjust the ambient lighting to match your mood or modify the readout on the instrument cluster to match your driving. The optional crystal-clear head-up display can update you on the speed limit and road conditions as well. Finally, you can charge up your compatible smartphone via the wireless charging pad, and when you park the A-Class, you can stay connected via the downloadable Mercedes me app.
