Mercedes-Benz Changes Up E-Class Lineup With New E 450
The Mercedes-Benz of Owings Mills team knows that there is plenty to love about the Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup. (After all, there's a reason Autotrader—a leading critic in the automotive industry—awarded the 2018 E-Class Coupe with one of its "Must Test Drive Awards"). Imagine our excitement then when we heard that Mercedes-Benz is planning on replacing the E 400 with an even better model, the E 450.
New and Improved
Under the hood, drivers will find even more smooth, refined power. While the E 400 Coupe delivered 329 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, the upgraded twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 in the E 450 will offer 362 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque (a bonus of 33 hp and 15 lb-ft compared to its predecessor). Other features fans of the E-class will have to look forward to include a three-spoke Nappa leather steering wheel, two more trim options, and a route-based speed adaptive system (first seen in the S-Class), among others.
