Mercedes-Benz Goes Back to the Park with New ‘Jurassic World’ Campaign

It’s been 14 years since filmgoers last got to visit the world of Jurassic Park on the big screen, but that all changed with the release of Jurassic World on June 12. The widescreen dinosaur action, chills and thrills, and sparkling humor are all back in epic form. The team at Mercedes-Benz of Owings Mills was also excited to see another iconic return: an exciting new campaign from Mercedes-Benz, starring the all-new GLE Coupé.

The Mercedes-Benz M-Class officially debuted in 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Now, the eagerly awaited GLE Coupé is one among a fleet of Mercedes-Benz vehicles to star in Jurassic World. Fans can also expect to see the rugged G-Class, the unique Unimog, and the versatile Sprinter facing off against the park’s unusual fauna—including the new Indominus Rex.

What’s made the relationship between Mercedes-Benz and Jurassic Park so enduring? For producer Frank Marshall, the answer is easy. "The fleet of Mercedes Benz vehicles fit perfectly into Jurassic World,” he said. “They are classy, sophisticated, and sexy — exactly what would exist in a modern international theme park."
